Tobias Emmerich started 2012 to play the lute and took lessons by Yoshio Takayanagi. 2013 he was taught at the „Conservatoire de Strasbourg“ by Yasunori Imamura. Between 2014 and 2018 he studied and made his bachelor degree at the „Musikhochschule Trossingen“ under Prof. Rolf Lislevand. Since 2019 he is studying at the „Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln“ under Prof. David Bergmüller.
